:: Female sexual problems
Just a few years ago, many magazines and
many sex related formulas were specially targeted to inspire
men and their energy drive enhancement. A man's sex pleasure
was accepted as natural. Nobody really considered a woman's
sexual problems till recently.
The contemporary woman has a lot of turbulence
in her focused life. With career pressures and familial responsibilities,
the woman today is constantly motivated to excel in everything
she does, be it as a home maker or a career woman. The new
woman of today is thus more conscious than ever of sexual
drive and sexual pleasure as an integral part of her individuality.
Yet it is a disturbing fact that millions
of women suffer from low libido. This could be due to a huge
variety of physical or mental reasons. Physical reasons may
be due to use of alcohol and/or drugs, hormonal imbalances,
anemia, post child birth and much more. Mental reasons could
be related to pressures at the workplace, transport, hectic
life, unorganized diet, junk food and a lot more. With new
technology and new era of medicines, it is amazing that the
problem of low libido in women and some other woman sexual
problems can be easily solved. Yes, you heard right indeed!
Recent studies have focused on several aspects
of female sexuality, including hormone levels, libido, how
pregnancy and menopause affect a woman’s sexuality, and body
image.

A new survey from the Society for the Scientific
Study of Sexuality, at Penn State University, has found an
interesting relationship between what researchers call “feeling
frumpy” and the respondents’ sex lives. The study, recently
published in The Journal of Sex Research, found that the emphasis
in United States culture on being young and thin has a more
important influence than menopause on sexual functioning and
satisfaction.
Analysis of the survey results showed that,
regardless of the woman's specific age, she was more likely
to consider herself more attractive when she was 10 years
younger whether or not she had been through menopause. In
addition, there was no significant statistical relationship
between a woman's perception of her own attractiveness as
she aged and her current sexual satisfaction.
